Christmas Morning 2006!

Since we are away from most of the family Christmas morning, I wanted to get these pictures posted so everyone could see what Santa brought for Dabria this year! After a good nights sleep, she eagerly awoke us at 8:15...ready to dig in and see what Santa left for her! She was very patient as we had to make a pot of coffee, have a cigarette, and I even made her get her hair brushed before she was allowed to start! She was also surprised at all the crumbs Santa left on his cookie plate, but she was excited to see that he took her letter and left a card for her! It read:Dear Dabria, Thank you for the wonderful cookie, it was the best one I had all night! You were a very good girl this year, and I heard you are doing a great job in school! Keep up the great work and listen to your Mommy & Daddy! P.S. Keep your room clean! Love, SANTA....  

Let the unwrapping begin! She was so excited to see a V-tech game that she can play on the T.V.- she plays her hand held one all the time! Some new games and markers and a new Cinderella cell phone- so her and Emma can stop fighting over her's!  

UUUggghhh....floam (it should be a four letter word), but the messier the better when it comes to kids- it's just not "parent friendly." Another set of magnetix, which she loved, can you tell? Princess velvet posters, and a cool road ripper Corvette!  

A new Barbie Dream Stable complete with accessories, and Barbie's horse Tawny- who really walks and neighs! And a set of walkie talkies so she can talk to Emma from our house!  

More gifts from Santa....speaker for her FP3 player, a princess art set, lots of stocking stuffers, and Dabria displays all her new loot!  

Dabria digs into more of her gifts...floam (which should be free- what a sticky mess!) Daddy and her also broke out the magnetix and started building!  

Cookie for Santa!

Dabria wanted to make Santa one big cookie, so when we made one last batch of chocolate chip cookies, we made one especially for Santa! She also wrote Santa a last minute note requesting another Amazing Amanda doll (because Emma ripped one of her eyes out) Needless to say, she didn't get her wish, but Santa left plenty of other gifts under the tree! And, of course Santa is a Red Sox fan!  

Christmas Eve...

We got the kids all spiffed up for our yearly trip to candlelight service at church, which was later than usual this year- it didn't start until 9 p.m.! We exchanged gifts at Darah & Hobies before heading off to church! The girls were thrilled to wear their matching red sparkly shoes! (like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz!) Then it was home and to bed to await Santa's arrival!  

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus!

Santa made a surprise appearance and surprised the kids at Darah and Hobie's house Thursday night! They all gave him last minute wishes...except for Gunner- he wasn't wanting to get up close and personal with Santa! This was great- after we tried to take them to see Santa at his cottage last weekend, but when we got there- Santa was gone! Needless to say, we had some upset kids- Gunner even informing Emma that Santa must be dead:) But, he proved to be alive and well, and assured them all that they would get everything they want for Christmas!- Umm, I'm gonna have to have a little chat with Santa about that.......HO, HO, HO! As you can see- all the KIDS- including Hobie got a chance to sit on Santa's lap!  

Shawnna our shining star!

Since we take special Christmas pictures with all the kids, Shawnna was no exception! We dressed her in Emma's first Christmas dress, and tried to get her to sit in front of the Christmas tree! She didn't seem to think it was such a good idea- she really wanted to stand! But with a little help from Brian- we were able to get some cute shots! We couldn't button the dress in the back, and it only came doen to her belly (it was a preemie dress), but we made it work! We also had to get some pictures with Dabria's old red snowflake hat- just look at that face!! Shawnna shines!

The Shawnna show....

She's back! After almost a month of not seeing our little sweetie, we were blessed to be in her company again! She loves to be the center of attention and just soaks up the love! She is quite the show stopper...and almost 7 months old now! Our sweet girl- she brings so much happiness with her every time! Can't wait for our next visit....
