My best friend....

Miles may separate us, but somewhere, our souls are holding hands.... A friend is like a good bra...hard to find, supportive, and close to your heart! Most people walk in and out of your life, but only friends leave footprints on your heart... Lorrie has been my best friend for 13 years now, and even though I moved away 7 and a half years ago, and I never see her as much as I would like to, when we do get together, it's like we were never apart! She knows everything about me- probably more than anyone else...the good, the bad, and the stuff I would never want anyone else in the World to know. We will always have that bond that best friends share...and memories that can make me smile through tears! We look at each other, and even without words, know exactly what each other are thinking. I've spent some of the best years of my life with Lorrie...and some of the most memorable too! She's AMAZING! Our lives have taken different paths, but still we remain....she will be my very best friend forever! Lorrie, if you read this, just know that I love you with all my heart, and nothing could make me happier than finally seeing you truly happy. You deserve it! I wish you the best, and only hope that we can become more involved in each other's lives...the way we used to be! It's the times we're so crazy, that people think we're high. It's the times we laugh so hard, we can't help but cry. It's all the inside jokes and "remember whens"... those are all the reasons that we're best friends! 

We need a bigger house!

The newest addition to Dabria's playroom...a new train table for all her Thomas Train stuff! (Mommy put it together all by herself!) So, now, with all the new Christmas presents and this new table....she won't have enough of room to actually play in her play room! Looks like Mom will have to do some rearranging! 

Happy 60th Grandpa!

Grandpa with his 5 little lions!...Nittany lions! A Penn State cake to celebrate his 6 decades! (Hasn't Joe Paterno coached that long?) So, as an added bonus to his birthday cake and 5 little lions, Penn State won the Bowl game a few days later in triple overtime! Was that your wish when you blew out all those candles??? Dabria, Emma,Grandpa, Jarren, Gunner, and Jansen....ROAR!!!

Christmas at Nana and Grandpa's!

We had to celebrate Christmas a little late this year...we decided to wait until New Year's Weekend to make the trip to PA, and with good reason! That way we would all be there to ring in 2006, and celebrate Grandpa turning 60! It was a really great weekend. Nana got up early saturday morning and had a breakfast smorgasboard waiting for us! (Just call her Martha...Stewart that is!) She likes to make sure she adds the perfect touch to everything! We then let all the kids dig into their presents....and then, while the kids were playing with all their new stuff, we adults managed to get some time to open our gifts too! The weekend went too fast...as it usually does. But, we cherish the time we spend with our family, and have many happy memories to look back on for years to come!

Chris and Jarren...this marks Jarrens first Christmas, and as you can see, he is getting a taste of it...literally! How does Buzz Lightyear taste?? 

Aunt Denise got Dabria her first set of matchbox cars! She was thrilled! When people ask her what she wants...she always tells them, "I want boy toys!" She just isn't into all the typical girlie stuff....just part of her personality! 

This is what Nana and Grandpa's family room looked like while all the kids were unwrapping their presents.....uhhh...just a little hectic!

Dabria got a new V.smile game....that she has not put down in the 6 days since she got it! Thankfully it is educational...and it is great because we can hook it right up to the t.v. too! She is becoming a pro at it very quickly! We'll have to keep those game cartridges coming! 

New Years Eve Bash!

We finally were all able to go out for a night on the town without the kids! This was the first time we ever did anything as a group of adults (well mostly adults...ha!) since before all 5 kids arrived! Dad had bought tickets in advance, and we hired a driver to take us all home (very good thing!) It was also to celebrate Dad turning 60! We had such a good time, we decided it would be our new tradition! Dancing, drinking, no kids, lots of music, a great family...we deserve that once a year! 2006 got off to a great start! 

Danny & Jess...(can you believe he is old enough to drink, legally?) Jess got to see what we are all like when we get together for a party! We had the best time together!

I added some pictures from Christmas...as you can see, this is of me and Brian on Christmas Eve, and Cookies for Santa, and Brian with his framed Autographed Wade Boggs card I got him, and Dabria with one of her MANY gifts!
