It's Snowing!!!!!

Living so close to the beach...we don't get much sled worthy snow in these parts, so needless to say, the kid's were extremely excited when the snow started piling up! OK...the big "kids" were excited too! So, we decided to go exploring and find a spot to go sledding. Which, is hard, considering Delaware is flat as a board! But, we did manage to find a place to go, and spent a better part of the day outside! Afterwards, we all went back to Sandy & James' for some hot chocolate so we could all thaw out! This was probably the biggest snow event we will witness this season.....so I'm so glad we took advantage of it! Payten, Micayla, and Dabria posed for a quick photo op- even though they has to squint to keep the snow out of their eyes! Such good sports! 

The whole gang! Hobie, Gunner, Darah, Emma,Brian, Dabria, Micayla, Sandy, Payten, and James...(hey, somebody had to take the picture...so I am absent from this shot....darn!) 

Micayla and Payten look on as Dabria goes racing down the hill with me as her target! Oh, the paparazzi! Always getting in the way! 

Emma chillin' on her tube! ( This was the happiest moment of Emma's day...she wasn't to thrilled to be braving the cold!) 

It's a bird....it's a plane....no, it's Gunner! 

Pretty as a picture! Now smile pretty for Mommy and then you may go sledding! 

No, this is not Bobsledding at the Olympics....it is Unlcle Hobie and Dabria sledding down the steepest hill in little old flat Delaware! 

Addicted to V-smile!

My child is absolutely addicted to her new video games! The only comforting thought while seeing her glued to the t.v. for hours at a time...is that these games are educational! Only problem is.....she has already easily solved all the games! At 20 bucks a pop- this could get expensive! ( Not to mention a little embarrassing that Mom and Dad can't even master some of there games!) So, as long as she is learning....PLAY ON! 

Kid's Cottage....here we come!

On January 7, we decided to take the kids to check out the Kid's Cottage in Rehoboth. It is a really cool place where kids can play...with a lot of indoor/outdoor activities, where you can even drop the kids off (they have babysitting for 9.00/hr). We just wanted to go see what it was all about, and let the kids play for a while! It is a very impressive facility, and the pictures don't do it justice. The girls loved playing dressup, and Gunner just loved getting into everything he could! So, we decided if we ever need a parents night out, we would feel perfectly fine dropping the kids off to play....while we get a break! 

Look! There is even stuff for the big kids to do! Hobie and Brian spent their time in the arcade playroom:)  

Is that Gunner....climbing something he is actually allowed to climb!???? 

Dressing up at the Kid's cottage is so much fun! Is that Jessica Simpson?? Nooo....it's Emma! 

Watch out wicked Queen..it's the real Snow White! (or at least my little princess)
