Happy Birthday Dabria...November 9 "small party"...

It's official! Wednesday, November 9, 2005...Dabria turned 5 years old! Where has the time gone? I can't believe my baby is 5....it just doesn't seem possible! I had to study for a Med Math test all day, so I thought is was only fair to throw an impromptu birthday party for Dabria on her actual birthday. She helped me make chocolate cupcakes thatMonday night (she worked the mixer and I think there was more batter splattered on the walls than actually in the cupcakes!) But, she had fun.....so I wrapped her presents from Mommy and Daddy, and she was thrilled to be able to open some gifts! She also got a box in the mail from Aunt Chris, and a card from Aunt Emma, so we let her open them too! We put some candles in a couple of our iced cupcakes, and sang Happy Birthday....and after blowing all the candles out on one try she immediately dug into her new gifts! She got a book and stuffed animal and $20 from Aunt Chris, as well as a card and $20 from Aunt Emma, and from us, she got Snow White and all seven dwarfs...with the prince and the wicked queen! Which, she absolutely loved! She also got some new Sponge Bob books, and an art set. So, our "baby" had a very Happy 5th Birthday!

Over the river and through the woods to Nana and Grandpas we go!

Wow, over a month since the last post!... Halloween weekend, we all headed north to PA for a weekend of Birthday celebrations and Fall fun. It is one of my favorite seasons in PA...cool, crisp weather! We celebrated Emma's 3rd and Dabria's 5th birthdays in a shared party at Nana and Grandpa's, for all of our PA family! As always, it was a busy weekend, complicated by the fact that all the kids and some of us adults were sick! But, we got through it and still managed to have a fun time! The kids love going to all the parks near Nana's house, so we spent a lot of time with them at the park, and a "must do" trip to Wilbur Chocolate! The kids look forward to eating their Wilbur Buds! Saturday was the double birthday bash, and Emma and Dabria were both "princess'es for the day!" Tinkerbell Emma, and Cinderella Dabria got to open their birthday gifts and both had their own cakes! I've included some pictures of the party and the weekend there! They are really growing up so fast!
