Pretty as a picture!

As a kindergartener, picture day is very exciting! Dabria wore a red dress and even let me use a curling iron on her hair! We also put some blush on her cheeks! She wanted to practice her smiles before she left, so we took some pictures! Now, we will wait and see how her first official school pictures turn out! How cute she is!  

Pretty girl!

Since school started, Dabria is wearing all her new clothes, and when she asks me "Mommy, how do I look today?", I always tell her she is my pretty girl! And she says- "well, do you want to take my picture?"...and, of course, the answer is always YES!!  

Smiling Shawnna!

I have finally caught some adorable smiles from Shawnna! Her personality is really blooming, and our hearts just melt when she gives us a great big baby grin! In the first picture, Dabria was telling Shawnna to smile just a little bit! And, on cue, she did!  

Welcome to the Zoo!

Since it's always a zoo when we get these three together, we decided to take a day trip to the real zoo! We always try to get there at least once a year, and after visiting the Philly Zoo in April, we weren't sure if they would still think this much smaller zoo was going to excite them....but they got out their maps and had a fun time! And, Darah- either Gunner is really nearsighted, or he was hiding from the camera!  

Prairie dogs, buffalo, and kids, oh my!

OK, so the Salisbury Zoo is not the Philly zoo, but it is a quick trip that the kids seem to enjoy, and it is FREE! We've been there several times, and this was the first glance we got of the cute little prairie dogs! We made it through the zoo and playground in about an hour and a half...a nice little trip!  

A Bunch of monkeys!

During our outing to the zoo, we let the kids "hang out" at the playground ! Dabria, Emma & Gunner....what a bunch of monkeys!
