Danny & Desiree Graduate!

I am so upset about this post...it was supposed to include pictures of the graduates, but when I loaded the cd to download my pictures, I found out that not all of my pictures were saved to cd. Luckily, I printed pictures of Danny and Desiree, so I have hard copies, but none to share with my blog readers. I should have double checked...I will from now on....regardless, it was a great day to see my baby brother and his wonderful girlfriend graduate from college! We spent the weekend in New Jersey, and were all there to celebrate! We also got to go see Danny's last track event at Princeton. So, congratulations to you both! I'm sure you will be great teachers! I wish I could share some of the wonderful pictures from that day...I am sorry...

Happy Mother's Day!

With Dabria now in Kindergaeten, I can look foward to all the great handmade projects she gets to do in class. She made me a beautiful flower pot complete with flowers and a great teapot card with a cute little poem and a tea bag inside! It means so much to me...I'm sure I will have boxes and boxes of these liitle treasures saved up over the next 12 years. My best Mother's day gifts so far! Thank you!

First year of T-ball!

Dabria decided to give T-ball a whirl...and she has done a fantastic job! She played for the Cardinals and even got a trophy! She is quite a hitter, and was the tallest on her team! She enjoyed playing second base and short stop the best, and her and Daddy spent many evenings with her practicing in the back yard! Although she never spoke a word to anyone on the team, she has had so much encouragement, and turned into an instant ball player. She will move up to Instructional softball next year, and we just can't wait! Mommy and Daddy both grew up playing ball, so we are thrilled that she shows such an interest in it-- and I think she has inherited some raw talent from her folks! Way to go Dabria! Daddy even got to help coach...

Hoppy Easter!

Look what the Easter Bunny did...he left a trail of clues on this new dry erase board! Dabria had a great time trying to decode the clues to find her basket! Finally, with some extra hints from Mom & Dad, she found it...in the dryer! What a clever Easter Bunny!

Easter eggs to "dye" for!

Our yearly tradition....dying easter eggs! All you need is a little imagination, a big mess, and a pair of bunny ears, of course! Dabria made the eggs all by herself, and then wanted them to "live" in a little dish in the fridge- like her pets! So, needless to say, she was a little upset when we made egg-cellent egg salad with them! Note to self- next year, buy as kit that doesn't have cute little faces on them, maybe that will help:)

Kiss me...I'm Irish!

...well, technically only 1/4 Irish (thanks to Mom Mom)! Dabria sported her St. Patty's day attire and smiled for the camera!

Welcome to the world, little one!

Gaige Jacob was born this morning at 7:45 a.m. via c-section! Weighing in at 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 21 inches long! Yes, he is smaller than we all thought! He joins big brother Gunner, and big sister Emma who so far, just can't get enough of him! He is so sweet! A healthy, precious baby! Congrats Hobie and Darah! Mom and baby are both doing well! I will come back and add captions to the pictures later- it has been a very long day, but we want to make sure Grandpa and Uncle Chris, Unle Danny, Jansen & Jarren could get a glimpse of this new little cutie!  Posted by Picasa
